06:00: You can choose to start your day with the great opportunity to participate in the daily morning ritual of monks in robes collecting alms (glutinous rice) from loyal residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, the only Buddhist country that still preserves the Procession.
08:00: After breakfast, we will start the journey towards the suburbs about 15 km to Elephant village at Ban Xieng Lom, on the way visit the famous village of Ban Pha Nom, inhabited by traditional cloth weavers. They served as servants and handmade souvenirs for the last king. Next is a monument to Henri Mouho at Kang Noon, a Frenchman who founded Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, but died of malaria at Kang Noon while on an expedition to Laos.
Upon arrival, your guide will briefly introduce the origin of the 10 elephants and their daily living conditions, and get some vegetables for those elephants, then you'll ride the elephants for about 30 minutes through the forest to the Kham River.
12:30: Lunch at local restaurant.
On the way back to town, we will visit villages of ethnic minorities such as: Ban Na Ouan, Hmong, Ban Ou, Laoloum and Ban Thapene, Khmu, then drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall nice place where you can cool off with a refreshing water. Swim in the turquoise pool or hike along the forest trails.
After returning to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon. We stop to watch the sunset at Wat Phabath Tai.
18:30: Dropping you off at your hotel. Trip ends.
